There’s an aroma to this bay along the Sunshine Coast near Noosa. The Tea trees with their gnarled and curling branches frame the tourquoise waters of this bay where the dolphins and turtles come every day.
I sat beneath the spreading limbs to paint this piece. The tree itself was cut down by the rangers shortly afterwards - health and safety apparently. The smell of the tea tree lingers forever.
