St Michael's Mount

Twinned with Mont St Michel in Normandy, St Michael's Mount is one of the magical spiritual destinations for Pilgrims and explorers through the ages.
I came filming here for Wacaday and wanted to return on my round Britain adventure.
During my Camino I stayed at its twin and planned to paint a piece of both Landmarks.
As I waited for the tide to go out and cross the causeway on my bike I made a sketch of the mysterious mystical ancient island near Marazion Cornwall.
From this I worked up this painting in my temporary studio in Lamorna Cove.
