Mount Cootha forms the dramatic backdrop to the capital of Queensland. On it’s slopes there are national parks, picnic sites, botanic gardens and restaurants at the lookout.
It’s one of the best places to see how Brisbane is constantly changing. I looked down on the curving river and the new build high rises in the central business district. It’s the play of summer light and shadow across the valley of the city that makes this vista one of my favourite.
