Moonrise over Uluru
Oil on box canvas 16 x12" £1750
Limited Giclee framed print £595
The yellow ochre spinifex surrounds the world's largest rock - Uluru - in the centre of Australia.
The deep grooves have been worn over millenia by rain channels spilling down its sides.
High above the waxing moon casts an eerie glow in the gathering twilight.
I deliberately chose to cut the edges from the front of the canvas. This accentuates the colossal size of this mesmerising place.
