Under blood red skies German and British troops climbed out of the trenches, shook hands and played a game of football.
The story resonates throughout the ages and speaks of peace in the middle of conflict.
I've painted the meeting of the soldiers in No Man's Land the exchange of greetings, gift of cigarettes and the football.
