Coming around the Wirral from Wallasey, New Brighton shines along the shores of the river Mersey.
The lighthouse and Fort Perch stand at the head of the river. Opposite are the cranes of the docks at Bootle and further on the skyline of Liverpool beckons.
It's one of our favourite views in the north West and speaks of history, grandeur and the spirit of Merseyside.
