At the far end of the Isle of Wight are the white chalk outcrops known as the Needles. It's difficult to reach this view but worth it. The deep blue of the English channel contrasts with the chalky whiteness of the pinnacles.
It's the vista we remember as youngsters watching chity bang bang .
