Between Arnside Knott and Silverdale in an area of outstanding natural beauty lies Arnside Tower.
Built in the middle ages to defend Morecambe Bay against raids from Scots it's a beloved landmark on popular routes around the Bay.
In a field of limestone rocks, buttercups and cows I explored it's rugged ruins before painting this.
