I wonder if I can....?

Can you make dreams come true?

My route around the UK

This sceptred Isle set in a silver sea.

This is a story that starts 200 years ago when a little tinpot dictator was rampaging across Europe and blocking Britons from travelling to the continent.

Sounds familiar doesn’t it?

Napoleon has a lot to answer for.

Artists such as Turner and Constable turned their attention to the great British landscape and created amazing artworks that have delighted the public ever since.

Laugharne Castle in Carmarthenshire. I was inspired to paint this by the artist JMW Turner and the poet Dylan Thomas to bring our stunning landscapes alive
— Timmy Mallett

They say disasters come in threes - pestilence, war and natural catastrophe - and with this in mind I want to seize the opportunity to follow in the paint steps of great British Landscape artists to see the vistas that inspired them and see if they inspire my art too.

On my trusty hand painted TimmEEE bike I want to attempt to cycle round the country with my paints and a sense of wonder, to see what I can aspire to.

Wish me luck. It’s a big adventure and I’m sure there will be challenges along the way. I hope to share the work I create across my social platforms and here of course at the home of Mallett Fine Art
